Terms of service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of stockedlabs.com (the “Website”) and the WordPress plugins published by Stocked Labs, including PromptStocked for WooCommerce (the “Plugins”). Stocked Labs is the brand of an independent software developer based in Ukraine (“we”, “us”). By using the Website or the Plugins, you agree to these Terms. If you use them on behalf of a company, you confirm that you can accept these Terms for it.

1. Free Plugins and license

Our free Plugins are licensed under the GNU General Public License, version 2 or later (GPLv2+). You may use them on any number of sites, study, change and share them under that license. Nothing in these Terms limits your rights under the GPL.

2. Paid products

Paid add-ons are not on sale yet. When they launch:

• They will be sold by an authorized reseller acting as merchant of record, which handles payment, invoices and sales taxes. Its terms will also apply to your purchase.
• A license is sold for a period (usually one year) and for a number of sites. It gives access to updates and support for that period.
• Licenses renew automatically unless you cancel before the renewal date. You can cancel at any time from your account.
• If a license expires, the code you have stays yours under the GPL, but updates, support and any features that depend on our licensing service stop until you renew.
• Prices may change. A price change does not affect a period you have already paid for.

3. Waitlists and launch prices

Joining a waitlist is free and does not oblige you to buy. Launch prices shown on the Website apply only if and when the product launches, under the conditions stated at that time.

4. Third-party services

Our Plugins help you prepare product data for third-party platforms such as ChatGPT (OpenAI), Microsoft Copilot and Perplexity. We are not affiliated with these companies.

• Whether your store is accepted, and whether and how your products are shown, is decided only by those platforms. We do not guarantee approval, listing, rankings, traffic or sales.
• These platforms may change their requirements at any time. We will try to update the Plugins, but cannot guarantee that every change is supported immediately.
• Your use of those platforms is governed by their own terms and policies.

5. Your responsibilities

• Keep backups of your website before installing or updating any plugin.
• Make sure your products, prices, descriptions, store policies and data you send to third parties are accurate and lawful.
• Follow the rules of the platforms you sell on and the laws of the countries where you sell.
• Do not use the Website to send spam, attack it, or try to access parts of it that are not public.

6. Support

We answer support questions by email at support@stockedlabs.com, usually within one business day. Support covers installing, configuring and using the Plugins. It does not cover custom development, third-party plugins or themes, or hosting problems.

7. Intellectual property

The names Stocked Labs, PromptStocked, PilotStocked, TraceStocked, SpecStocked, GateStocked and AnswerStocked, our logos and the content of the Website belong to us. The GPL license of the Plugins does not give you rights to use our names or logos to promote your own products. WordPress, WooCommerce, ChatGPT, OpenAI, Copilot, Bing, Microsoft and Perplexity are trademarks of their respective owners.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

The Plugins and the Website are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, to the extent permitted by law.

9. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, such as lost profits, lost sales, lost data or business interruption. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the product concerned in the 12 months before the claim, or USD 50 if you paid nothing. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

10. Changes to the Plugins and the Website

We may change, suspend or stop any Plugin, feature or part of the Website. Products marked “coming soon”, “in design” or “planned” may change or may not be released.

11. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Ukraine. Before going to court, please write to us so we can try to solve the issue. If you are a consumer, you keep any mandatory protections of the law of your country of residence.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. Continued use of the Website or the Plugins after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
